A full time Development Officer (Phil Arnold) a part time Outreach Officer (James Ballantyne), a part time Administration Officer (Janet Stevenson) and a part time Development Manager (Sharon Donohoe).

You may have heard about the project. The project has held many events including training sessions, open days, discussion days, and a series of roadshows to set up new groups. Phil and James also attend local group meetings to provide support and participate at the North Lanarkshire Council conference.

Project Extension

The North Lanarkshire Tenants and Residents Development Support Project has just been awarded an extension. The project's contract was due to expire at the end of March 2008, but has now been awarded another 18 month contract (up to the end of September 2009).

While discussions are still ongoing, we can say at this point that North Lanarkshire Council have agreed to pay for one full time Development Officer, one part-time Office Administration Officer and management support from the Tenants Information Service.

The Federation are working hard to try and get full time Outreach support and full time administration support as this will be vital for the future support of tenants groups in North Lanarkshire. For more information please contact the Federation.
